Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how subscriptions, billing periods, credits, and refunds work at scrapexa. Read it alongside the Terms and Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and billing

scrapexa is sold as a monthly subscription. Fees are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) and include 18% GST, shown on every invoice. Your card is billed at the start of each billing period and renews automatically until you cancel.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until that date, and you are not charged again after it. We do not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of a period you have already paid for.

To cancel, sign in and open /app/billing, then choose Cancel subscription. Your dashboard shows the exact date access ends.

Credits

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of extraction credits. Credits reset every 30 days at the start of a new billing period. Unused credits do not roll over and have no cash value. Resetting credits is not a charge and is not refundable.

Refunds

scrapexa is a usage-based digital service. Once extractions are consumed, the underlying compute and bandwidth are spent, so fees are generally non-refundable — including for credits left unused at the end of a period.

We make a fair-use exception in two cases:

  • billing error A duplicate charge, an incorrect amount, or a charge after a confirmed cancellation.
  • service failure A sustained outage or defect on our side that prevented extractions you were billed for.

Where an exception applies, we refund the affected fees, including the GST charged on them. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Requesting a review

Request a review within 7 days of the charge. Use the contact form and include your account email, the invoice or transaction ID, and a short description of the billing error or service failure. We respond within a few business days and tell you the outcome.
