These terms set out the rules for using scrapexa. Read them before you create an account or run a crawl. By using the service you agree to everything below.
Last updated: 22 June 2026
These terms form a binding agreement between you and scrapexa. By registering for an account, running a crawl, or paying for a plan, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these terms. If you are using scrapexa for a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
scrapexa performs live crawling of public websites that you choose. You point us at a URL or list of URLs, and we extract structured data — contact details, company information, and similar fields — from pages as they exist at the time of the crawl.
Crawling is performed against the live web, so results depend on what each target site publishes at the moment we read it. Extracted data may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors. Treat every result as a starting point and verify it before you use it for outreach or any other decision.
You may use scrapexa only for lawful purposes. You agree that you will not:
You are solely responsible for how you contact any lead you extract through scrapexa. If you send email, SMS, calls, or any other outreach, you must comply with all applicable laws, including anti-spam rules such as the US CAN-SPAM Act, the EU GDPR and ePrivacy rules, and equivalent Indian regulations. You are responsible for honouring consent, opt-outs, and do-not-contact requests. scrapexa provides data; it does not send your outreach and is not responsible for it.
scrapexa only extracts data that is publicly accessible on the open web — information that any visitor could read without logging in. We do not crawl private accounts, gated portals, or content behind authentication. If a page is not public, it is out of scope, and you must not ask the service to reach it.
Paid plans are billed in Indian Rupees (INR). All prices are exclusive of tax; 18% GST is added to every invoice as required by Indian law. Payments are processed by Razorpay, and by paying you also accept Razorpay's terms for the payment step.
Plans renew automatically for the stated billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund the current period. Refunds, where offered, are governed by our refund policy. We may change pricing on notice, with changes taking effect at your next renewal.
We do not guarantee that extracted data is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Source websites change, remove, or misstate information outside our control. The service and all data are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Verify everything before you rely on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, scrapexa is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or put scrapexa or third parties at legal risk. On termination your access ends and pending fees remain due. We may retain records as required by law.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use scrapexa after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
