1. Who we are
Scrapexa provides a self-serve web data extraction service. This policy explains what personal data we process and your rights over it.
2. Data we collect about you
- Account data: name, email, hashed password, plan and billing records.
- Usage data: the URLs you submit, jobs you run, and credit activity.
- Payment data: processed by Razorpay; we store transaction references and invoices, not card numbers.
3. Data we extract on your behalf
When you run a scrape, we collect publicly available business-contact information from the sites you supply, and — for gaps — from authoritative third-party sources. This may include business emails, phone numbers, social profiles and company details. You are the controller of the data you extract; we process it as your processor.
4. How we use data
To operate the Service, run and improve extractions, enforce credits, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your account data.
5. Retention
Export files and results are retained for the configured retention window (30 days by default) and then purged. We keep minimal financial records as required by law. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Your rights — deletion & opt-out
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Individuals whose contact details appear in extractions may request suppression (opt-out): once added to our suppression list, an email address or domain is dropped from all future extractions and exports.
To exercise any of these rights, raise a ticket from your dashboard or email our support address with the email address or domain concerned. We action verified requests promptly.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed credentials, per-user data isolation, signed expiring download links, and SSRF-guarded crawling. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
8. Sub-processors
We rely on infrastructure and service providers (hosting, Razorpay for payments, and the enrichment/AI providers you enable). Each processes data only as needed to provide their function.
9. Contact
For any privacy question or request, contact us via your account dashboard.
